The owners of this North East farmhouse have been friends of the Jackson family for over twenty years, and their kitchen has been teal blue for as long. The remodeling of the kitchen was extensive. We removed and hauled away all of the old cabinets, sink, appliances, and plaster. The homeowners selected beautiful painted hardwood cabinets from a local distributor. They replaced their large cast iron sink with a deep-bowled farm style basin. The kitchen was re-wired by an electrician, the old windows were replaced, cabinets were set and new countertops installed, the walls were re-plastered and re-painted, wood floors were laid, and new faucets and fixtures were installed. This kitchen is a perfect example of how many different kinds of talented people it takes to complete a project: plumbers, electricians, plasters, cabinet & countertop specialists, and floor installers. From start to finish, the project was completed in about three weeks.
